After concluding the NME tour in style and being crowned “Best New Band” at the NME awards, Bombay Bicycle Club announced their biggest headline show to date at Kentish Town Forum on April 24th… which promptly sold out in under a week.
Additionally, the band is putting the finishing touches on a brand new acoustic album which will be released this summer. Singer, Jack Steadman’s love of Appalachian music coupled with the folk heritage of guitarist Jamie MacColl (son of Neill and grandson of Ewan) has given these new tracks a distinct acoustic feel, as heard on the band’s recent cover of Loudon Wainwright III’s ‘Motel Blues’.
The critically acclaimed debut album ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’ is out now.
