Favela Chic is a bar, a restaurant, a club, a festival space and none of the above.
Joining forces with their favourite annual London event Lovebox and the
best cachaca brand bar none Sagatiba, Favela Chic brings the Shoreditch /
Paris / Rio vibe to Victoria Park for two days in July at a bespoke and
intimate indoor / outdoor space.
Expect the usual; mix of Brazilian tomfoolery, London attitude and
Parisian stupidity. With a globo cast from Russia, Gibraltar, Greece,
Paris, London and Rio of course in a big top just large enough to
contain creative Brazilian cocktails, live samba and batucada, Radio
Favela DJs and the best new live talent from around the world.
We are very proud to include Guy Chambers on the bill – Guy’s new night The Orgasmatron has seen the likes of Katie Melua and William Orbit perform at Favela Chic. And Kirsty Almeida, a star in the making, launched herself into the world of London with 4 sell out gigs at Favela earlier this year. Not only but also liveness from the amazing Joanna and The Wolf, a piano clash with Le Baron’s Mattias Mimoun vs Guy Chambers, Oddbod’s Zoe Chiotis, Brazilica from Natema and Adriano Trinidade and the unique Cyrus Gabrysch.
Our brilliant team led by Mario Frulio along with Sagatiba will transform the tent into a Favela Chic style environment.
