Born in Toronto, Canada, Daisy O’Dell began her relationship with
music at a very young age. Infatuated with everything musical she began
to sing and perform and ultimately majored in Music Theater at
Toronto’s esteemed Etobicoke High School for the Arts – Canada’s Fame.
Upon completion of the program, Daisy moved to London, England to
peruse her dream of singing professionally. It was there that she first came into contact with DJ culture.
Daisy was completely obsessed with vinyl by the time she moved to NYC.
Once in New York she endeared herself to the most influential nightlife
personalities. The New York Times quoted her as being one of the
‘coolest people in Manhattan.’ and she certainly lived up to her
reputation. It was in New York that Daisy first made the transition
from record collector to DJ. After a move to LA she started booking all
over the country and Daisy’s reputation as a worldclass party dj was
solidified.
