Lovebox is not just about big acts, breakthrough bands and underground jocks - it's also about the boutique touches, bells, whistles and wonderful comic flourishes that have established the show as London’s only real festival experience.
Nestled within in a peaceful clearing of trees is the Fringe Field - a weird and wonderful alternative to the rest of the festival. 21st century hoedown pioneers, Cut-A-Shine host their own Barn-Dancing Tent with folk and acoustic sessions from the Magpie’s Nest and there’s hordes of walkabout performances from the likes of the Trans-Siberian Marching Band, The Whoopee Club and our resident magicians.
There the Affordable Vintage Clothes Fair with a bounty of beautiful clothes being sold and the Out Of the Ordinary Stage debut’s this year with what can only be described as a mind-bending symposium of esoteric learning on earth mysteries, crop circles, leylines and, yep - you guessed it, shamanism.
